[Dar-us-Salaam] Reminder to give your Zakat ul Maal

As salaamu 'Alaikum,

Alhumdullilah, As we are entering the last 10-nights of Ramadan , we all
should consider the situations of those who are without food, shelter,
money, and other necessities.

This is the opportunity to send your Zakat ul Maal contribution to the Zakah
Foundation of Dar-us-Salaam. For the past several years, the Zakah
Foundation has collected and distributed Zakat to needy families in the
area.

*'As a single mom sometimes having to work two jobs, it is very hard to
provide for my family by myself.The Zakah Foundation of Dar-us-Salaam has
helped me put food on my table for my children.' (A note from a sister in
the community)*

While these and many other families were helped by the Zakah Foundation in
the past, there are many other families who still need assistance. In fact,
families could not be assisted because we did not have enough funds to help
them during their time of need. 'The parable of those who spend their
property in the way of Allah is as the parable of a grain growing seven ears
(with) a hundred grains in every ear; and Allah multiplies for whom He
pleases; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.'(2:261)
