[Dar-us-Salaam] Recognize your community's fasting children in Muslim Link !

As-salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,

Did your little one do her/his best to fast last month? The Muslim
Linkwould like to recognize children from
YOUR COMMUNITY, aged *9 years or younger** *who fasted any portion of the
month of Ramadhan. Even fasting half days deserves recognition! Our annual
picture spread recognizing fasting children in Maryland, Virgina and D.C.
will be printed in the October 23, 2009  issue, insha Allah. *The deadline
for submissions is Friday, October 9, 2009.*  To recognize your Ramadhan
Super Star in the newspaper, email the following information to
fastingkids at muslimlinkpaper.com:

   - Full name of each child
   - Age of each child
   - City and State of their residence
   - The number of fasts they completed (If they completed the whole month,
   just write "All ")
   - Attach photo of your child (optional)

*It is reported that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him)
said: "The young child's good deeds will be recognized, but his bad deeds
will not be recorded."*
