As Salaamu Alaikum,
Insha Allah this message finds you and your families in good health, strong
iman and enjoying the beautiful sunshine . . .
Here are some events around the area for the weekend and beyond that may be
fun for you and your children. I also understand that the Annual
Smithsonian Kite Festival is on the Mall in downtown Washington on Saturday
as well. Great way to get some extra Vitamin D! Read to the end to get
info on an opportunity for community service and an essay contest for middle
schoolers.
Take care and make du’a for us all.
Wasalaam.

Subject: MSA Campaign Request
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh,
I hope this email finds you in high health and eeman. I am contacting you on
behalf of the Muslim Student Association at Springbrook High School in
Silver Spring, Maryland.
Just recently, we have started a campaign called "The Big Idea" in order to
raise money for buying generators in Third World countries, especially for
local businesses. InshaAllah, over the next month, we will be doing several
bake sales and fundraiser events in order to raise money for this cause.
We'd like to make this campaign a community-wide effort which is why we are
contacting synagogues, churches, mosques, and local organizations to
advertise this campaign.
MashaAllah, you have quite a few contacts, so I was hoping you could forward
our flyer to your mailing list.
Please let me know if this is possible!
JazakaAllahu Khairun,
Fatimah Waseem
MSA President
The Big Idea Outreach Manager
